Tips and tricks to keep teepee stable

If your teepee is properly set up and fully usable, it should remain stable. Here are some tips on how to do this:

Before installing, make sure the top of the pole is in the correct position. You don't need to do anything with bolts or nuts. The bolts should be in the X shape. The lower hole with the connecting bolt should be located below the higher hole/bolt. This is how we send it to you and should be used directly in this way.

Before pulling out the pole, make sure that your fabric is close to the top so that the bottom of the pole is completely in the bottom pole covering. If the fabric sags and the top rod cover is in the middle half of the rod, you will not be able to set it correctly. Pull up the fabric to make sure the fabric is as high as possible.

Next, you open the poles. You must make adjustments by pulling up the fabric at each pole as you walk so that the fabric can go as high as possible at each pole. In this way, each pole can be fully functional. Make full use of it to stabilize the foundation of the tent.

Tip: Putting a teepee in a corner of the playroom/bedroom/living room can prevent children from trying to walk sideways or backwards. Adding a pillow or seat will keep the sides open and prevent children from pulling sideways.

If you place it on a smooth surface, try adding carpet under it so that the fabric does not slide on the floor.

Our teepee is designed for calm competitions, not for wrestling competitions, etc. Like any play tent on the market, if children play rough or side-pull indoors, they are in danger of falling. As the child gets older, the willingness to pull the tent decreases.

Regarding how to store the tent, you can disassemble the tent and place it flat on the ground. Fold the tent cloth as usual. After folding, the width should be shorter than the storage bag, because this will avoid errors when you roll it down, and the width may become longer after you roll it up, which makes it difficult to fit into the storage bag. Generally, when folded, the width will be 5 cm smaller than the storage bag.

Slowly roll forward until the tent is completely rolled up. Remember to take your time, so that the air in the tent can be completely exhausted. Finally, put it in the storage bag. Why choose to use rolls instead of folding and folding? Because folding will cause great damage to the coating, it is recommended to choose a roll instead of forcefully folding the tent, so that the life of the tent will increase.
